KNOWLEDGE/KNOW THE LEDGE

                “Then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of GOD. For the Lord Gives wisdom and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding…”

                                                                                                            -Proverbs 2:5-7

                There are many people that confuse being smart or being knowledgeable with being educated through study in a particular field or having attended a certain school. Allowing their degrees and accolades to give them a sense of ‘I am intelligent due to the fact I have studied in the field of (You fill in the blank) and I obtained a degree in (fill in the blank), making me smart and knowledgeable.’ I understand that the above is definitely a source of gaining knowledge and everyone with the opportunity to gain knowledge through study in a particular field, at any institution of higher learning, should utilize the opportunity but this is not the knowledge I speak of here. I am speaking of the knowledge that one gains through the fear of GOD, through studying HIS word and the belief in His existence.

            GOD offers us the knowledge of life and the paths we should take to make this Earthly journey a worthwhile one and the knowledge to discern right from wrong. Yes, His word says that we should acquire an education so as to be knowledgeable of the operation of things created by man and the various processes of daily life, but more than that He says that we should seek the knowledge and wisdom that He offers because it is the knowledge that will lead you through life and to Eternal life with HIM in Heaven.

            So, I say… ‘Be knowledgeable and gain all of the knowledge you can but be mindful of the KNOWLEDGE that you give priority to because with that, you will Know the Ledge.’ GOD’s knowledge is the GREATEST KNOWLEDGE, superior to all other knowing.
